Both the Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic are in the unique position of having a lot of intriguing young trade chips to work with this offseason.

Getting a good return on any potential trade chips that the Chicago Bulls new front office regime has at their disposal this offseason could be a great way to build up the roster heading into the fourth year of the rebuild. The Bulls made a lot of headlines earlier in the offseason with all of the changes they made within the organization from the top-down.

It all started with the demotion of former vice president of basketball operations John Paxson to a senior advisor role. Paxson was replaced by former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas as the lead voice in the front office. And then Karnisovas hired Marc Eversley to replace Gar Forman as the Bulls general manager.

With GarPax out of power in the Bulls front office, there could be better days ahead for this rebuild heading into the 2020-21 season. And another reason for better spirits among this Bulls fan base is the hiring of former Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan to replace Jim Boylen.

The Bulls look to have a much better personnel situation from the front office to the coaching staff from the moves they’ve made so far this offseason. But now it’s up to the new front office personnel to make the same positive strides constructing this roster.

Is a possible direction for the franchise making a few significant moves on the trade market? One interesting name that sticks out as a potential trade target for the Bulls is the Orlando Magic reigning Slam Dunk Contest runner-up and 6-foot-8 forward Aaron Gordon.

Sitting the midst of a number of trade discussions of late, Gordon could be on the move once the market opens up this offseason. Here’s a look into three possible trade packages that the Bulls could put together if they wanted to get Gordon from the Magic.
