1) Chicago Bulls trades with the Pacers for Oladipo

In somewhat of a fusion of the first two trade packages listed here, the Bulls and Pacers could come together at a final conclusion in this grand exchange. Only one portion of this trade involves any future draft capital, with the Pacers once again sending an unprotected 2021 first round draft pick to the Bulls.

The rest of this trade packages sees the Bulls send the likes of LaVine, Markkanen, and Young to the Pacers to help form their roster under their new coaching staff. In return, the Pacers ship off Turner, Oladipo, that aforementioned future first round draft pick, and the young power forward T.J. Leaf.

There might not be many Pacers role players that could use a change of scenery more than the former UCLA Bruin and first round pick Leaf. This deal could be really good for him.

Moreover, the Bulls are getting two pieces that won’t mortgage all of their future and could help them win now in the Central Division. Meanwhile, the Pacers get two pieces that could help them reshape the look of their starting five. LaVine could be a nice fit alongside Brogdon and Sabonis, while also helping the Pacers start to form a solid big three in the starting five.

Young also was a much better fit with the Pacers than he was with the Bulls. As an insurance policy along with Markkanen, after the Pacers get rid of Turner, Young is a nice addition back to their frontcourt rotation. Markkanen might be the most volatile, but promising, part of this trade deal as a whole.
