3) Potential steals for Chicago Bulls in free agency: Josh Jackson

The biggest positional need for the Bulls this offseason is definitely on the wing. They do have a plethora of ways that they could go to round out the rotation this offseason, between their fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery, possessing a few valuable trade chips, and having a fruitful set of targets on the wing in this cycle of free agency.

That is all good news for the Bulls that they have a number of ways that they could go to fill out the roster at the biggest areas of need. And a great first way to look for the former Denver Nuggets general manager Karnisovas and ex-Philadelphia 76ers senior VP of player personnel Eversley could be with the former Kansas Jayhawks star five-star recruit Josh Jackson.

This ultra-talented but inconsistent 6-foot-8 and 210 pound forward was the fourth overall pick of the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft. The 23-year-old Jackson did get steadily better over the course of the last 18 months, though. And he might still have a limited number of suitors in this cycle of free agency.

During the shortened 2019-20 regular season with the Grizzlies, Jackson played in 22 games (starting in none of them). He averaged 9.0 points per game, 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.4 blocks. And Jackson shot an improved 44.0 percent from the field, 31.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 70.0 percent from the free-throw line.

If the Bulls new front office regime believes that they can keep up the improvement that Jackson showed of late, then he could be a nice value free agent signing for them this offseason.
