Where could Arturas Karnisovas, Marc Eversley, and this new look Chicago Bulls franchise look creatively for answers in this cycle of free agency?

This cycle of free agency is sure to promise a lot of fireworks and insight into what the Chicago Bulls plan to do for the remainder of this offseason under the direction of a new front office regime and largely new look coaching staff. Earlier in the offseason, the Bulls made a lot of significant moves to retool the look of the organization essentially from the top-down.

It all started with the demotion of former vice president of basketball operations John Paxson to a senior advisor role and the firing of former general manager Gar Forman. Paxson was then replaced by former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas as the new lead voice in the front office. And Forman was replaced by former Philadelphia 76ers senior VP of player personnel Marc Eversley.

But what will Karnisovas and Eversley do to shift the direction of the rebuild from here throughout the remainder of the offseason?

The Bulls aren’t dealing with a whole lot of cap room, as it stands now, for this offseason and this cycle of free agency. With just four impending free agents set to hit the market this offseason, nearly all of which will be minimum deals or restricted free agents, there’s not going to be a whole lot of roster and/or cap room freeing up in the near future either.

That is unless the Bulls elect to pull off a big trade or send a few of the players on the current roster to the waiver wire during this cycle of free agency.

If the Bulls want to get really creative, they could look overseas to find answers to any depth problems while working within a pretty tight cap sheet. Here’s a look at three potential options they could have in terms of overseas free agent signings this offseason.
