2) Takeaways from Chicago Bulls group scrimmage: Coby White can ball

We saw flashes of it last season, but the more we see the better it looks. Coby White is the real deal.

White looked as smooth with the ball in his hands as he ever has in the intrasquad scrimmages. The young point guard showed no hesitation from offense:  pulling up and stepping back to find open threes

Most notably, White confidently came off of a screen from Markkanen into a wide open three in motion. White drilled the shot, winning the game for his practice squad.

Watching White play with the ball in his hands was one of the most entertaining aspects of the Bulls play last season. If these scrimmages show anything, it’s that he’s read to improve on lasts seasons flashes in 2021.
