Chicago Bulls fans were treated to the first action the team has seen since March, with the team sharing footage of scrimmages from their minicamp.

Chicago Bulls fans rejoice: there’s finally some  basketball to watch from this team. On the afternoon of Oct. 15, the Bulls shared intrasquad scrimmage footage from the teams optional minicamp to their YouTube channel, and other social media outlets.

The play was a far cry from professional 48 minute basketball we all miss watching the Bulls play, but it was great to see something from the team for the first time since March.

During the team’s minicamp, Bulls players engaged in short scrimmage games to seven points. Plenty was missing from these games: new head coach Billy Donovan was not yet in Chicago, according to new Executive VP of basketball operations Artūras Karnišovas. Additionally, guard Kris Dunn opted not to attend the minicamp

This isn’t even the final iteration of the 2020 Bulls roster; since free agency and the NBA Draft are still yet to come.

Nonetheless, it was great to see some familiar faces back on the court together, even in a scrimmage. These four things were clear takeaways from these short scrimmages.
