Chicago Bulls starting shooting guard: Coby White

This would wind up being more of a combo guard slot that White could fit into in the Bulls starting five alongside CP3 in the backcourt. Donovan utilized Paul as the starting point guard with the Thunder during the 2019-20 season, with SGA at the two (but in more of a combo guard role), and it worked out pretty well.

If the Bulls can do something similar with Donovan now as their head coach, and move White into a combo guard role starting at the two next season, it would be pretty potent. White would just have to continue the scorching hot scoring streak he was on (or something close to it) to play well off of Paul at the one.

White did receive All-Rookie Second-Team honors for his efforts during the 2019-20 season. He was also one of the best rookie guards down the stretch in February and March, prior to the pause in the season that was. White received the final Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month honors prior to the pause, which came back in February.

During the shortened 2019-20 regular season with the Bulls, White played in all 65 games (starting in the final game for them prior to the pause). He averaged 13.2 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.1 blocks. And White shot 39.4 percent from the field, 35.4 percent from beyond the arc, and 79.1 percent from the free-throw line.
