1) Chicago Bulls free agent targets to replace Shaquille Harrison: Garrett Temple

The veteran on this list is also going to be one of the more underrated free agent targets at the wing/two guard spot in this cycle. Brooklyn Nets 34-year-old 6-foot-5 and 195 pound shooting guard/wing Garrett Temple actually had one of the best seasons of his NBA career to date during the 2019-20 campaign.

The former LSU Tiger and undrafted free agent Temple played in 62 games during the shortened 2019-20 regular season with the Nets (35 of which he started in). Temple averaged 10.3 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.5 blocks. He shot 37.8 percent from the field, 32.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 80.5 percent from the free-throw line.

But Temple is around a 35 percent shooter from beyond the arc and a 41 percent shooter from the field in his career to date.

The defensive game of Temple really bounced back well during the 2019-20 season with the Nets. He registered 1.7 defensive win shares during the regular season, which was the second best tally of his career to date. He also registered a defensive box plus/minus rating in the positive for the third straight year.

Temple also assumed a big role for the Nets in the playoffs. While the Nets were swept in the first round by the Raptors, he did averaged more than 12.0 points per game to go along with about three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

About the most low-risk free agent signing that the Bulls could make to both add wing depth and replace Harrison in the same roster move would be nabbing Temple. They would likely be able to get him at a value price tag on a one year contract this offseason.
