1) Most beneficial landing spots for Chicago Bulls SG Zach LaVine: Brooklyn Nets

What would seem like the perfect landing spot for LaVine, if the Bulls were to dish him out this offseason, is with newly hired head coach and former two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash and the Brooklyn Nets. LaVine would be a really nice third piece playing alongside the superstar pairing of point guard Kyrie Irving and forward Kevin Durant.

The Nets have a real shot to be the best contender out of the East next season, as long as Kyrie and KD both stay healthy throughout the year. Kyrie missed a good portion of the 2019-20 season dealing with an upper-body injury. And KD missed all of the season recovering from the Achilles tear he suffered in the Warriors playoff run last year.

KD should make his Nets debut at the outset of the 2020-21 regular season, and Kyrie should ideally be healthy and ready to go. Adding a player like LaVine to that mix, who averaged 25.5 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks, could be absolutely lethal. LaVine also would have so much free space to use his insane athleticism and good shooting ability to get buckets.

If the Nets were to be able to get LaVine from the Bulls, it would likely take a few intriguing pieces (i.e. Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, etc.) and some future draft capital. They would have to part ways with a lot to get LaVine in the mix as that third part of a building Big 3 in Brooklyn. There’s not much that the Bulls could get back in return that would vault their contender status in all likelihood in this hypothetical scenario.
