Which three players for the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers are worth watching as potential trade targets for the Chicago Bulls?

The NBA Finals are almost upon us, and two former members of the same Chicago Bulls team from the 2016-17 season will be partaking for each side in this series. Former Bulls star shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler leads the surprise team of the playoffs to date, the five-seed Miami Heat, into his first career appearance in the Finals. Butler already went further than he ever had before in the playoffs by making it to the Eastern Conference Finals with the Heat this year.

To reach the NBA Finals, Butler and the Heat toppled the three-seed Boston Celtics in a six-game series win in the East Finals.

On the other side of things in the Finals, former Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo comes into the series with the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers. Rondo and the Lakers worked quickly through the three-seed Denver Nuggets in a five-game series win in the Western Conference Finals.

Both the Lakers and Heat worked through each side of the playoff bracket with relative ease. These two teams only had three losses in the playoffs so far.

But only one side will emerge victorious in this series. It will either get LeBron James his fourth title, and his superstar teammate Anthony Davis his first of his NBA career. Or, “Jimmy G. Buckets” will get his first ring and the Heat’s first championship since the early 2010’s.

As far as the Bulls are concerned, there are actually a number of trade targets that will be competing in the Finals that they should look into to fill positional needs this offseason.

With that in mind, here’s a look into three possible Bulls trade targets to watch in the NBA Finals.
