1) Chicago Bulls free agent targets to watch in NBA Finals: Anthony Davis

While this is definitely the most outlandish free agent target to watch on this list for Karnisovas, Donovan, and this new look Bulls organization, they should at least see what the Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis is feeling about a hometown reunion down the road. There’s little to no chance that AD is going to want to join the Bulls this offseason, unless something really falls apart completely with LeBron James and the Lakers in the near future.

But the Bulls have a real opportunity to get their foot in the door here, just like they would’ve a few years back against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks a few years back in a playoff run early in the back-to-back MVP’s NBA career. They should at least see what they can do in this regard.

AD absolutely put on a show since joining up with LeBron at the outset of this season. AD and LeBron is one of the top superstar pairings in the NBA, if not the best overall. In the 2019-20 regular season, AD played in 62 games (starting in all of them). He averaged 26.1 points per game, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.3 blocks.

And he shot 50.3 percent from the field, 33.0 percent from beyond the arc, and 84.6 percent from the free-throw line.

In the playoff run so far with the Lakers, AD averaged 28.8 points per game, 9.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.2 blocks. He shot a stellar 57.1 percent from the field, 36.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.0 percent from the free-throw line. Those are great numbers that are right up there with LeBron, and will make it tough on Butler and the Heat to pull off the upset of the Lakers in the Finals.
