1) Chicago Bulls opponents Jordan torched offensively: Clyde Drexler

One of the most lopsided NBA Finals series that Jordan and the Bulls had throughout the 1990’s was against Hall-of-Fame guard Clyde Drexler and the Portland Trail Blazers. There were two games where the Blazers tried to put up a fight against the Bulls in that 1992 NBA Finals series, but the rest of the games weren’t really all that close.

And of all the players on this list, Drexler saw Jordan average the most points per game against him. Jordan and Drexler faced each other on 17 occasions in the regular season. And 10 of those 17 regular season tries fell in favor or Jordan.

These two faced each other on six occasions in the 1992 NBA Finals. That series went in favor of Jordan and the Bulls in four of the six games.

In the regular season, Jordan averaged 34.5 points per game, 7.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists, against Drexler. He shot 47.9 percent from the field and 87.1 percent from the free-throw line. In the playoffs, Jordan averaged 35.8 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.5 assists. He shot 52.6 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 89.1 percent from the free-throw line in the playoffs.

Drexler was a solid player throughout his run with the Blazers and Houston Rockets. He was a 10-time NBA All-Star selection, five-time All-NBA Team selection, and finally got that elusive title with the Rockets in 1995. His lone NBA Championship came while Jordan was playing baseball during the 1994-95 season.
