Any world where the Chicago Bulls could piece together a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo is worth exploring.

The ultimate prize that looks to be available next offseason in that fruitful 2021 free agent class is the Milwaukee Bucks reigning MVP, forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, had a rough end to his 2019-20 season in the second round of the playoffs. Giannis and the top-seeded Bucks were knocked out in a second round upset in a five-game series at the hands of former Chicago Bulls star shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler and the five-seed Miami Heat.

Getting bounced by the Heat in the second round of the playoffs this year is the biggest upset to date since the season restarted in the bubble at Disney World a little less than two months. Shortly followed by that was the comeback upset second round series where the three-seed Denver Nuggets took down the two-seed Los Angeles Clippers.

However, since Giannis and the Bucks posted the best regular season record in the NBA, getting bounced from the playoffs in the second round by a five-seed clearly was going to bring about some turmoil. The early questions as to where Giannis’ future lies in the NBA has already started in the last couple of weeks.

With the possibility of the Bucks trading Giannis looming in conversations around NBA circles at the moment, it’s interesting to ponder where he could end up next, or if he will stick with the Bucks. What if he chose to take his talents to a bigger market team in the Eastern Conference, like the Bulls or New York Knicks (although it doesn’t look likely at this moment)?

Here’s a look into three “way too good to be true” trades for the Bulls to land Giannis from the Bucks in the near future.
