The Chicago Bulls got some very valuable contributions in the playoffs from the Hall-of-Fame 6-foot-8 forward Scottie Pippen in his career.

Most of the career of the Hall-of-Fame former Chicago Bulls forward Scottie Pippen is remembered for all of the regular season and playoff success he had alongside legendary shooting guard Michael Jordan. But there were a few players that Pippen really had their number in the playoffs throughout his career with the Bulls, Houston Rockets, and Portland Trail Blazers.

Pippen is a legend in the NBA for both his accolades individually and how he contributed to the greatest dynasty in recent memory for this league. He was a seven-time All-Star selection, seven-time All-NBA Team selection, six-time NBA Champion, one-time steals champ, 10-time All-Defensive Team selection, and the 1993-94 All-Star Game MVP. He also nearly won the MVP honors during the 1993-94 season, when Jordan was trying his hand playing baseball in the Chicago White Sox minor league organization.

Most of the career of the former Central Arkansas product was spent with the Bulls. He played in a dozen season with the Bulls, four with the Trail Blazers, and one with the Rockets. The stint with the Rockets for one year came in that big sign-and-trade deal during the 1999 offseason. After that, he spent most of the latter years of his career with the Blazers. And then he had one more year with the “baby Bulls” in the mid-2000’s before he officially called it quits.

Pippen was known throughout his run with the Bulls for playoff success, but that started to run out with the Rockets and Blazers. But here’s a look back at the three opposing players that Pippen had some of his most success against in his accomplished NBA career.
