Aug. 20 is the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery night, and it is one of the most relevant points of the entire offseason for the Chicago Bulls.

The Chicago Bulls are entering a really important phase of the offseason, with the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery nearly here on Aug. 20. This looks to be almost the exact same situation that the Bulls found themselves in each of the last three offseasons in terms of their positioning in the draft lottery. The Bulls do have the seventh best odds to get the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery.

Doesn’t that sound familiar Bulls fans?

According to the Tankathon odds, the Bulls have a 7.5 percent chance of getting the first overall pick in this draft lottery, and a 32.0 percent shot at getting into the top four. But the Bulls actually have a better shot at getting the ninth overall pick (12.9 percent) than they do getting any individual slot in the top four. Their odds average out to around pick No. 6.2.

If the Bulls do manage to luck out and land the top overall pick in this draft lottery, what would be the best direction for them to proceed?

Since there’s no obvious top prospect in this class, like there was last year with Duke’s Zion Williamson, the Bulls might want to explore the trade route. All options should certainly be on the table considering where the Bulls stand heading into the fourth year of the rebuild.

Here’s a look into the three trades that the Bulls could put together if they land the top pick in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery.
