1. Chandler Hutchison, Small Forward

Another player on this list that just hasn’t lived up to the hype as at least a productive former first round pick of the Bulls in the last few NBA Drafts, former Boise State Broncos small forward Chandler Hutchison is really starting to wear out his welcome in Chicago. The 6-foot-7 and 196 pound Mission Viejo, CA, native was the 22nd overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft for the Bulls.

There has yet to be much traction in the NBA for Hutch. And his two-year run in the NBA thus far has exposed a lot of the sizable flaws in his game, and his spotty health record. Hutch has played in less than 75 games since his NBA career began during the 2018-19 campaign.

He played in 28 games in the season that was for the Bulls (starting in 10 of them). Hutch averaged 7.8 points per game, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.3 blocks. He shot 45.7 percent from the field, 31.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 59.0 percent from the free-throw line. That amounted to a -2.6 box plus/minus rating, -0.1 value over replacement player rating, .060 win shares per 48 minutes, 52.1 true shooting percentage, and a 12.4 player efficiency rating.

Since the Bulls need more consistency, efficiency, and just reliable health from the wing spot in the rotation heading into next season, Hutch just might not be the right fit moving forward. He is due two more years from his rookie contract, but if there is a way for the Bulls to move Hutch on the trade market for almost any valuable return, it might be worth doing.
