2. Cristiano Felicio, Power Forward/Center

By far the least efficient and most ineffective big man that the Bulls have on the cap sheet at the moment is the Brazilian 6-foot-10 and 270 pound towering power forward/center Cristiano Felicio.

Entering the 2017-18 season, the Bulls handed way too sizable of a contract extension to Felicio. He is due at least $8 million through the remainder of his current contract, which is up during the 2021 offseason. That is way too big of a contract for a player that has not even sniffed the realm of a net positive player over the course of the last three years.

In the season that was for the Bulls, Felicio played in 22 games (thankfully none of which he started). He averaged 3.9 points per game, 4.6 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.1 blocks. Felicio shot 63.0 percent from the field and an actually impressive 78.3 percent from the free-throw line. But he still registered a tragic -3.0 box plus/minus rating.

A lot of people are hard on Felicio, ourselves at Pippen Ain’t Easy included. And that’s not necessarily because he’s bad guy. He’s still a good basketball player overall, he just doesn’t belong on an NBA roster. He showed in the FIBA World Cup last year that he could be an effective big man possibly on another league overseas or in the G-League if he wants to stick around there.
