2. Jake Toolson, Shooting Guard

Without a doubt one of the most underrated players in this draft class among the best shooters is the former BYU Cougars and Utah Valley 6-foot-5 and 205 pound shooting guard Jake Toolson. This skilled and versatile Arizona native offensive threat is also one of the older prospects in this draft class.

There were five different seasons that Toolson spent with either the BYU or Utah Valley hoops program. He started out his college career for two years with BYU, and then had to sit one before making his initial debut with Utah Valley. Then for the final year of his college career, he went back to join the BYU program.

In 32 games played with BYU last season (all of which he started), Toolson averaged 15.2 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.4 blocks. He shot 47.2 percent from the field, 47.0 percent from beyond the arc, and 79.7 percent from the free-throw line. That was good for a 59.0 effective field goal percentage and 61.2 true shooting percentage.

For his college career, Toolson registered a 62.9 true shooting percentage and 59.5 effective field goal percentage. Last season, he ranked first in the WCC in three-point shooting percentage and second in Division I. He also ranked second in the WCC in effective field goal percentage last season, and in the top 20 in true shooting percentage in Division I for each of the last two seasons.

Toolson is not going to have the highest ceiling of any prospect in this draft class, but he could fill a very specific need that the Bulls have in the rotation likely for next season.
