In the 2020 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls should do their best to find some shooting help to provide more consistency from downtown.

With the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery just around the corner, the anticipation awaits for fans and anyone else associated with the Chicago Bulls organization to see if they can crack the top three or five. This might wind up being a deeper draft class at the top of the board than last year’s. Beyond the New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson and Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant, there wasn’t much to brag about at the top of the draft board last year.

According to the Tankathon odds, the Bulls have a 7.5 percent chance of getting the first overall pick in the 2020 draft. They also have a 32.0 percent chance of getting a top four pick in the draft lottery. But the Bulls have the seventh best odds of getting the first overall pick in this draft, which is a pretty familiar spot for this franchise to be in.

If the Bulls were to get the seventh overall pick come this year’s draft lottery, on Aug. 20 more specifically, it would be the fourth year in a row they fell in that spot.

But if the Bulls do get a good spot in this lottery, where do they look, or do they trade down? It really depends on how positional needs shake out once the Bulls are up on the board. There are three aspects they really need to add beyond positional need. Those three aspects including more consistent outside shooting, depth among solid rebounders, and another capable floor general.

Here’s a look into the three best shooters in the thick of this draft class that could be targeted by the Bulls in either the late first or second round this year.
