Zach Lavine

Perhaps the only player on this roster to have a particularly good season, Zach LaVine played just about as well as anyone could have expected him to. He is continuing to improve as a volume scorer, as he increased his point-per-game total from last season by nearly two points-per-game. Perhaps the most exciting part of Zach’s 2019-2020 campaign is his improvement in his three point shooting. Despite taking three more attempts per-game from behind the arc, LaVine was able to increase his three point shooting percentage. Even defensively, the Bulls’ star made major strides, effectively doubling his defensive win shares from the season before.

One thing the Bulls would like to see him improve on next year is his passing, which is one category in which he took a step back in.

Adding a playmaking component to his game would do wonders for him both individually and for the team as a whole, as he would likely gain more star-credibility around the league while simultaneously serving as the distributor that the Bulls so desperately need. At only twenty five years of age, LaVine is still improving as a player. He had a phenomenal 2019-2020 season, and adding just one more component to his game could work wonders for both him and the franchise.
