Chicago Bulls: Player grades for 2019-2020 season
With the Chicago Bulls 2019-2020 season in the rear-view mirror, many expectations were not met by a team that appeared to be on the upswing.
It is no secret to Chicago Bulls fans that this past season was incredibly disappointing. Going from one of the best up-and-coming cores in the NBA with possible playoff hopes to possibly picking seventh overall in the NBA draft for the fourth straight season, it is clear that things have not gone to plan for Zach LaVine and company.
A lot of this season was not completely on the players, however, as the injury bug hit this roster in a big way and there were some serious issues as it pertains to the coaching staff. However, there is certainly a lot of blame to be placed on the players themselves, as they are obviously the most indicative factors in how a basketball team plays.
This is not to say that the season was all bad, though, as there were a few bright spots on the roster that should have fans very excited for next season and beyond. The talent on this roster is certainly there, even down to some of the players who did not grade well for their 2019-2020 campaign.
With the season officially over for the Chicago Bulls, it is time to take a look back at each individual player and see how their season graded. This slideshow will take fans through each of the Chicago Bulls on the active roster’s season, not including players on two-way deals. Each player will receive a letter grade for their performance this past season, which will include a brief explanation of why that player received that specific trade. Keep in mind that these grades are based off of realistic expectations for that player going into this year, as this is not a player ranking list of any sort.
