As not necessarily the worst contracts on the Chicago Bulls current roster, which three players are just the least valuable to this team?
There is still a lot of potential left to tap into on this Chicago Bulls roster, despite how lost the rebuild looked at certain times in the season that was. The Bulls rounded up the 2019-20 regular season with a record of 22-43 through 65 games prior to the novel coronavirus pandemic-mandated hiatus.
That was not the desired result for a Bulls team that looked to be on the rise heading into the third year of the rebuild. Current head coach Jim Boylen came under a lot of fire for guiding the Bulls to just 22 wins in 65 games, and finishing on the wrong foot prior to the hiatus.
But ownership did at least make a few changes to the front office that were much needed for a while now. They essentially demoted former vice president of basketball operations John Paxson to a senior advisor role in favor of former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas. The official title for Karnisovas taking over as the lead voice in the front office will be executive vice president of basketball operations.
And the most significant hire that Karnisovas made to date was bringing aboard former Philadelphia 76ers vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley. This new look front office combination of Karnisovas and Eversley will hopefully get this rebuild going in a more promising direction starting during the 2020 offseason.
Two main storylines right now are what the Bulls will do to shift the roster construction and coaching staff, if they make any significant moves early in the offseason at all.
Here’s a look into three current players on the Bulls roster that are the least valuable and Karnisovas/Eversley could part ways with.
