The playing days of the 6-foot-3 and 185 pound former Arkansas Razorbacks standout shooting guard Alvin Robertson were mostly split between the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs. Most of the time that he faced Jordan and the Bulls came as a member of the Bucks, but also the Spurs and Detroit Pistons.

There were a whopping 16 occasions in the regular season where Jordan scored at least 35 points in a single game against Robertson. To a side note, there were a whopping 10 other occasions where either Jordan or Robertson registered at least five steals each way. Those two were monsters on the defensive end of the floor when facing each other in the regular season or the playoffs.

In the 30 games where Robertson and Jordan faced each other in the regular season, the latter came out on top with a record of 21-9. And there was one playoff series where Jordan and the Bulls faced Robertson and the Bucks, near the end of the 1989-90 season. Jordan and the Bulls would top them in seven games while the legendary shooting guard would averaged nearly 37 points per game, eight rebounds, and seven assists.

In the 30 regular season games where Jordan and Robertson faced each other, the Bulls great averaged 34.7 points per game, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists, while shooting a sparkling 54.3 percent from the field and 82.2 percent from the free-throw line. Jordan truly always put his best scoring foot forward against Robertson, no matter if it was in the regular season or postseason.
