A former point guard for the Chicago Bulls Jamal Crawford deserves at least one more shot at a ring once the season resumes next month.
Now that the Chicago Bulls are officially eliminated from the NBA’s plan to resume the season at Walt Disney World Resort next month in Orlando, FL, their fans can find other rooting interests and focus on the looming offseason. While the Bulls won’t be playing in the NBA’s resumption at Disney World, with games planned to start on July 30, 22 other teams will be. And some of those 22 teams are going to need help from various top free agent targets, like former Bulls point guard Jamal Crawford.
A few of the top free agents that were on the open market have already been signed down to participate in the season’s restart. That list of players that were free agents for most of the season includes former Bulls standout center Joakim Noah, shooting guard JR Smith, small forward Corey Brewer, power forward Jordan Bell, and point guard Trey Burke.
If former free agent guards like Burke, Jaylen Adams, and Jerian Grant already have contracts for the remainder of this delayed 2019-20 season, then it shouldn’t be all that long before Crawford receives the same fortune. He is one of the true savvy veteran guards that could make an immediate impact as a spark plug off the bench.
The last game that Crawford played in saw him score more than 50 points off the bench. Now at 40 years old, the former eight overall pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2000 NBA Draft does look to still have something left in the tank.
Here’s a look into the three best potential landing spots for the former Bulls point guard Crawford for the season’s resumption at Disney World next month.
