Former Chicago Bulls to root for in Orlando: Joakim Noah

Cheering for Joakim Noah in Orlando will be my favorite NBA thing in a long time. Even though it doesn’t involve the Chicago Bulls, it’ll be the franchise’s best moment in years. That’s how impactful Noah’s time in Chicago was.

Joakim gave so much to the city of Chicago during his legendary tenure in the Windy City. He battled through injuries, gave 100 percent effort during tough times, and will ultimately go down as one of the best and most beloved players in franchise history.

Now, he’s going to help Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on their quest for a ring in Orlando? Amazing.

Noah hasn’t played an NBA game all season, but don’t expect him to stay on the bench for the Clippers. He’ll give them much-needed size around the basket, playoff experience, and of course — grit.

How amazing would it be to see Noah celebrating an NBA championship after all he did for the Bulls? It would be incredible. It would bring genuine happiness to Bulls fans. Go ahead and mark me down as a temporary Clippers fan.

If you’re wondering why Jimmy Butler wasn’t included in this list, it’s because he deserves his own article. It’s coming soon.
