The Warriors are in a unique lottery position. Due to injuries, they had one of the worst records in the league in the 2019-20 season. But they’ll enter next season as an immediate contender. They’ll have healthy versions of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins. Once they add a few plug-and-play guys, they’ll be ready.

Onyeka Okongwu is a guy that can immediately contribute in small ways for the Warriors. He’s a big, athletic body who can rebound and finish around the rim. That’s all they really need right now.

Anthony Edwards is a guy who most have going in the top three, but because of the way the lottery simulator shook things up, he fell to no. 5 in this mock draft.

Edwards is a score-first two-guard with incredible athleticism and solid defensive upside. The Wolves already have their two key guys in D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns. They just need more help surrounding those two guys. Edwards would immediately be an excellent third option.
