Episode 4 of ‘The Last Dance,’ which aired on Sunday, April 26, gave the world some incredible quotes. Here are the top five.

5. Carmen Electra’s thoughts on being Dennis Rodman’s girlfriend

"“It was definitely an occupational hazard to be Dennis’ girlfriend. He was wild.” -Carmen Electra"

That’s certainly the understatement of the millennium. An occupational hazard? It sounds like dating Dennis Rodman in the ’90s would’ve been more like an occupational explosion. Regardless, that’s a sensational quote and one I surely won’t forget anytime soon.

4. Carmen Electra brings the heat again!

"“There’s a knock on the door. It’s Michael Jordan. And I hid.” -Carmen Electra"

Whoa! There’s a lot to unpack here.

The thought of Michael Jordan being the guy to go to Las Vegas on a rescue mission for Rodman is fascinating on its own, but hearing the story of MJ knocking on the door to try and drag Dennis back to the team being told by Carmen Electra herself is absolutely staggering. I wasn’t ready for this level of heat less than five minutes into Episode 4.

3. MJ appreciating the little things

"“His body made it here Phil, don’t beg for too much.” -Michael Jordan"

This was Jordan’s response to Phil Jackson telling Rodman upon his return from Vegas that he essentially needs to get his body back in basketball shape. The best part of this was that Jordan said it in a jovial tone. He wasn’t being a sarcastic jerk about Rodman’s return. He genuinely knew that getting Rodman back from Vegas and with the team on the court was already a win in and of itself.

2. Steve Kerr’s admiration for Jackson

"“I have never met a coach who was that different and genuine when it came to bringing the group together. He had this real interest in Native-American history and he would weave that into our own culture.” -Steve Kerr"

One of the coolest parts of The Last Dance so far was seeing how Phil Jackson related to Dennis Rodman through Native-American culture. Jackson was leadership personified, and Steve Kerr’s quote is only further proof of that.

It’s cool to see one of the best coaches of this generation reflecting on the greatness of one of the best coaches basketball has ever seen.

1. Phil’s acid trip

"“Phil and I wrote Maverick together and in that book, Phil talks about doing acid. And thinking he was a lion, roaring up and down the beach in L.A.” -Charley Rose"

Wow. Just wow. That is utterly breathtaking. There are a million and one good Phil Jackson stories out there, but that one now stands alone at the top.

Picturing Phil Jackson on acid thinking he’s a lion in Los Angeles is a level of awesome I wasn’t ready for on a seemingly standard Sunday evening.
