Current Chicago Bulls players: Underrated or overrated?

The secret’s out about Lauri Markkanen. He was once looked at as one of the steals of the 2017 NBA Draft, and now, some are questioning what his future in the league will look like. Will he even be a career-starter?
As bad as his health has been, and as dissatisfying as it is to watch him play forgettable minutes for long stretches at a time, I sort of think he’s becoming a little underrated. I’ve been one of Markkanen’s biggest critics, and I’ll continue to be until he plays up to his potential, but he still has a high ceiling.
There aren’t many guys in the league with Markkanen’s length, athleticism, shooting ability and ball-handling skill. If he can stay healthy and find it in himself to be more aggressive, he can still be special. Even though I’m constantly frustrated by him, I still have high hopes for The Finnisher.
Verdict: Slightly underrated
