Chicago Bulls: Who looks best with the Dennis Rodman edit?
By Luke Askew
The Chicago Bulls had some fun on Instagram and “Rodman-ized” four current players. Who looks the best with the Rodman edit?
Ahead of the seemingly Dennis Rodman focused night two of The Last Dance, the Chicago Bulls posted four pictures on their Instagram account of some current fan-favorites with Rodman edits. In the words of the Bulls, the players got “Rodman-ized.”
Understatement of the year: Rodman had some funky looks throughout his time with the Bulls. One would think those looks are unmatchable, but the crazy part about that Instagram post was that the current players actually looked pretty good with Rodman features. So let’s pick a winner. Who looked the best?

None of them look bad, but Wendell Carter Jr. has to be the first eliminated here. The light spots in his hair are nice, but he needed a little more to jump off the screen.
The next guy eliminated has to be Lauri Markkanen. He got the insane multi-color hair treatment. I’m not sure there’s a color on the color wheel that didn’t make it onto Lauri’s head. It feels like they’re all there. It’s a wild look, and I would definitely be a fan of Lauri rocking this on opening day next season, but he kind of gives me super villain vibes in the picture the Bulls posted, and it’s freaking me out too much. He takes third place.
Now, the championship showdown: Coby White vs. Zach LaVine. Who got “Rodman-ized” the best?
Thanks to Coby’s beautiful afro, he has a natural advantage in any hair-themed contest. It’s almost not fair to any of his competitors. The Bulls gave Coby a mostly white/grey colored afro with some dark blue parts on the top of his head. Not bad at all. But is it enough?
LaVine got the hometown treatment: a Seattle-style blue/green hairdo. The cherry on top? He got the Rodman earring. Because of those two things, I have to give the title to LaVine. The hometown colors with the earring are too tough to beat. Coby would’ve had a chance if the Bulls gave him some Carolina blue highlights, but they only gave the hometown edits to Zach.
It’s simple math: Hometown edits + an earring = championship belt. White will have to settle for second place.
Congratulations to Zach LaVine on being the winner of the weirdest contest of all time!
