The third big man on this list was a bit more accomplished in terms of postseason accolades from his NBA career than the other two. The seven-footer and 225 pound big man, James Edwards, was a product of the Washington Huskies basketball program. Coming out of UW, Edwards was the 46th overall pick in the third round of the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1977 NBA Draft.
Edwards would wind up having a very lengthy nearly two decade long career in the NBA. He would play for a whopping eight different teams during that long run in the pros. And his run with the Bulls came at the very end of his career. He only played in 28 games with Jordan and the Bulls in the midst of the 1995-96 regular season.
Edwards would also get to play in six games during the playoff run that the Bulls had in 1996. This was one of three NBA Championships that he would win during his playing days in the NBA. One came with the Bulls and the other two came with the team formally known as the Detroit Pistons, and informally known as the “Bad Boys”.
In the one season that he played alongside Jordan and the Bulls in 1995-96, Edwards averaged 3.5 points per game, 1.4 rebounds, 0.4 assists, and 0.3 blocks, while shooting 37.3 percent from the field. Edwards would only play in 274 minutes during the 1995-96 regular season, at the age of 40.
