3. The two “former” presidents

One of the more controversial inclusions and and interviews in the first night of The Last Dance was two former presidents of the United States that had weird labels. The last president of the country prior to Donald Trump, Barack Obama, had a few noteworthy clips stuck in the midst of the first night of the docuseries.

And two presidents prior to Obama, Arkansas native Bill Clinton was heading up the country. He had a few quotes that were worth noting in the premier of The Last Dance too. Clinton was the president of the United States while Jordan was winning all those titles with the Bulls in the 1990’s. And Obama saw the rise of Jordan while he was living in Chicago.

It wasn’t necessarily the fact that Obama and Clinton were included in the premier of The Last Dance that made it controversial or caused an uproar on social media. It was the fact that Clinton was referred to in his interview as the “former Arkansas governor” and Obama as a “former Chicago resident”.

As was expected, these two former presidents of the United States had a lot of lauding for Jordan and the Bulls from those great 1990’s teams. We grouped these two together since they didn’t have that much air time each way, but definitely caused quite the reaction and had a handful of good quotes from the premier of The Last Dance.
