Potentially the most highly anticipated documentary series ever pertaining to the NBA and the Chicago Bulls is set to release on the night of April 19.

The premier of the 10-part documentary series set to air beginning on April 19 featuring the Chicago Bulls 1997-98 title team, called “The Last Dance”, is finally here. Bulls fans, and just sports fans in general, have been eagerly awaiting this day since the news cycle in basketball has pretty much ground to a halt thanks to the novel coronavirus pandemic lockdowns.

The Bulls won their last of six titles in the 1990’s to wrap up the 1997-98 season. All-time great shooting guard Michael Jordan would also play in his final season in a Bulls uniform during the 1997-98 campaign. Jordan would then enter his second of three retirement phases during his playing days.

Jordan’s final retirement from his playing days in the NBA would come after two seasons with the Washington Wizards in the early 2000’s. He was still a very solid and productive guard for the Wizards at the end of his career, nabbing two more All-Star selections in the process.

However, there is more than just watching Jordan play that basketball fans are excited to see in the premier of the first two parts of The Last Dance docuseries. The interviews from other star athletes, celebrities, teammates, etc. should give great insight into what happened behind closed doors.

This should also be a deeper dive into how bigger name celebrities felt and still feel about MJ and this Bulls team from the 1997-98 season.

Here’s a deeper dive into the three things we hope to learn about the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls in the premier of the 10-part documentary series set to be aired on ESPN/ABC, called “The Last Dance”.
