2. Dennis Rodman, Power Forward

The career accolades of the former superstar Bulls 6-foot-7 and 210 pound power forward Dennis Rodman are often overlooked due to everything that occurred off-the-court for him. Up to this day, Rodman still has multiple storylines far away from the game of basketball that keeps him around the headlines.

Yet, back in 1997-98 Rodman was still living out the last days of his NBA career. He was 36 years old throughout most of the 1997-98 campaign. In that season he played in 80 games (starting 66 of them) while averaging 4.7 points per game, a whopping 15.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 0.2 blocks, while shooting 43.1 percent from the field.

The 1997-98 season was the last of seven consecutive rebounding champion titles. It was also the third year in a row where Rodman posted a defensive rating lower than 100. Rodman led the NBA in total rebounding rate and defensive rebounding rate in 1997-98 too.

In the playoffs in 1998, Rodman also led the NBA in offensive rebounding rate and total rebounding rate.

That was one of a number of accolades that Rodman would take home. He was also a two-time NBA All-Star selection, five-time NBA Champion, two-time All-NBA honoree, two-time Defensive Player of the Year, and eight-time All-Defensive Team selection. Rodman is also already inducted into the Hall-of-Fame.
