It was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski on April 14 that the Chicago Bulls were granted permission to interview three GM candidates.

A list of three candidates has reportedly been made available for the Chicago Bulls to interview to be the next general manager to replace the likes of Gar Forman. According to an official team press release on April 13, the Bulls fired Forman after 22 years with the organization. Forman was the general manager for the Bulls for about the last decade.

Who will replace Forman is the next looming question for the Bulls and recently hired former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas. Hired last week to head up the front office, Karnisovas will replace John Paxson as the next executive vice president of basketball operations.

According to a report from ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter on April 14, the Bulls were granted permission to interview three of the following candidates. The Bulls will be looking to interview the Philadelphia 76ers vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley, Los Angeles Clippers assistant general manager Mark Hughes, and Orlando Magic assistant general manager Matt Lloyd.

Those are three solid names that the Bulls now have permission to interview to fill the general manager opening. Filling this role will be the next task for Karnisovas before he can focus on the rest of the front office, coaching staff, and then the roster construction.

Piecing this front office back together is finally happening, but Karnisovas has to be very diligent through this process to do it right.

Here’s a look into a breakdown of the three named general manager candidates that the Chicago Bulls and executive VP of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas were granted permission to interview this week.
