An impeding free agent cycle that is going to be even more crucial for the Chicago Bulls with a new-look front office needs to be done right.

Now that the Chicago Bulls made the move to finally reshape their front office with the hire of former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas, the process can begin of reconstructing the organization from top-to-bottom. The Reinsdorfs brought Karnisovas aboard as the Bulls next executive vice president of basketball operations.

Karnisovas will be replacing the role that former vice president of basketball operations John Paxson held up through less than one week ago. The next major player in the front office that is presumed to be replaced is general manager Gar Forman. Once recently, Forman was essentially demoted and received a new title. That gave the keys of the front office almost solely over to Paxson.

But the Bulls should have a more functional front office structure in place with the keys going over to Karnisovas now. What he did with the Nuggets was very special, as he took them to be one of the three or four best teams in the Western Conference over the course of the last three years.

The early free agent targets that Karnisovas should have in mind now with the Bulls are of the group of sought after players. There’s not many stars that will even be entering restricted free agency, or with a player/team option this coming offseason. But the Bulls need to know all options available to them since the reshaping of the franchise from the top-down is officially underway.

Here’s a look into the four definitive early free agent targets that former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas should have in his sights this coming offseason for the Chicago Bulls.
