5 fictional hoopers that would help the Chicago Bulls
By Luke Askew
1. Billy Hoyle
Billy Hoyle is at the peak of his powers when playing next to Sidney Deane, but it didn’t seem fair to take two players at one spot, so I thought I should choose one. Deane was an enticing prospect. He can jump out of the gym, protect the rim and talk trash with the best of ’em. But Hoyle is the better player in general and is definitely the better fit for the Bulls.
One of the craftiest players the world has ever seen, Hoyle has a unique way of doing everything. Nothing is simple. He’s the kind of guy that’ll spin around, throw a no-look pass, get the ball back and then shoot a backward layup.
Hoyle isn’t just fancy, though. He has the total package on offense. He’s a threat from deep, he can take you off the bounce and he’s one of the best fictional passers I’ve ever witnessed.
Considering how bad the Bulls offense is, Hoyle is a no-brainer when trying to pick the best fictional player to add to the Bulls’ roster. He would make life infinitely easier for LaVine, White, Carter and Lauri Markkanen. He might mess around and average 15 assists per game.
