3. Cassius Stanley – Duke

Cassius Stanley is one of the most electrifying, fun and awe-inspiring college basketball players in the country. He has rockets in his shoes and he can shoot the ball from deep. What more do fans want?

Stanley would’ve benefited massively from playing in the NCAA Tournament. He’s definitely on fans’ radars, but playing in the national spotlight with Duke as they advance their way through the tourney would’ve put him in the eyes of countless casual hoops fans. He’s a walking highlight reel. He’s a guy people would normally be talking about constantly at the water cooler during March Madness.

It looks like Stanley will go somewhere in the 20-40 range in the draft. Scouts love his athleticism but his inconsistencies are a bit troubling. There’s no question about Stanley’s ceiling, though. He has lottery-level talent and could end up being a steal in the draft.
