2. Coby White

  • Draft year: 2019
  • Pick: 7

Is it a little ambitious to put Coby White this high on the list? Maybe, but I don’t care. The kid deserves it.

White technically doesn’t even have a full season under his belt. His lone season has been postponed due to a global pandemic. Does that matter? No. He showed enough over the last month to validate his ranking on this list.

Check out Coby’s last nine games (points/assists/rebounds).

  • 33/2/3
  • 33/2/6
  • 35/3/7
  • 22/3/2
  • 19/5/6
  • 26/6/1
  • 26/6/2
  • 21/8/6
  • 20/5/5

Those numbers were coupled with impressive .480/.432/.903 shooting splits.

It’s still early, and in a few years, I might look foolish for putting Coby this high on my list, but this is where he belongs for right now. His potential matched with his recent production solidifies him as a solid second-best, which is a pretty good place to be for a 20-year-old kid.
