There are two very highly touted NBA Draft prospects that all Bulls fans should’ve wanted to see in the NCAA Tournament no matter what from the Florida State Seminoles title-caliber team. Florida State did wind up winning the ACC regular season title, but didn’t get the chance to complete their conference tournament run.

The first of the two Florida State players to watch in this draft class could be sophomore 6-foot-6 shooting guard Devin Vassell. The outstanding guard who shot nearly 50 percent from the field and 42 percent from beyond the arc should fall off the board no later than the early 20’s in the first round of the draft.

Moreover, the second name to watch from this Florida State team is the 6-foot-8 former five-star recruit and freshman small forward Patrick Williams. In all likelihood, Williams will be the first of the former Florida State standouts to fall off the board if both of these guys declare for the 2020 NBA Draft.

In 29 games played, Williams averaged 9.2 points per game, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals, while shooting 45.9 percent from the field, 32.0 percent from beyond the arc, and 83.8 percent form the charity stripe. The exciting two-way wing ability of Williams is what is drawing so much NBA attention his way. He registered a defensive box plus/minus rating of 4.8 and 94.1 defensive rating last season.

There is some hope that the shooting percentages of Williams will rise at the next level. He started to improve in that regard down the stretch during his true freshman campaign.
