The Arizona Wildcats freshman 6-foot-6 shooting guard and former five-star recruit Josh Green saw his 2020 NBA Draft stock rise significantly toward the end of his run last season. The length and athleticism of Green should allow him to either fill a sixth or seventh man right away and work his way into a starting role down the line in likely the best case scenario.

One of the bigger concerns surrounding the draft stock of Green was his inconsistent creating and shooting ability. Green did improve his shooting percentages down the stretch. He shot better than 36.0 percent from beyond the arc throughout the entirety of his freshman campaign. And he shot 35.9 percent from downtown in PAC-12 play.

The two-way skill set for Green is what should really appeal to teams in the NBA. He is a next-level athlete that would’ve been fun to watch in the Big Dance alongside fellow ultra-talented freshman Arizona guard Nico Mannion. Arizona would be one of the more fun teams to watch in March Madness, despite their not great 21-11 (10-8 PAC-12) record.

In 30 games played last season, Green averaged 12.0 points per game, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 steals, while shooting 42.4 percent from the field, 36.1 percent from range, and 78.0 percent from the free-throw line. That amounted to a respectable true shooting percentage around 53 and a box plus/minus rating of 8.6.
