2. Zach LaVine

Jan. 18: 118-116 win vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The second of two games where LaVine absolutely went off for the Chicago Bulls against the Cavaliers was on Jan. 18. The two games where he destroyed the Bulls Central Division foe were just seven days removed from each other. Unfortunately for the Cavaliers, they were one of the few teams that the Bulls were able to beat consistently.

With the highest overall game score posted by any Bulls player in any game this season, obviously this performance from LaVine deserved a high up spot on the list. This game score from LaVine sat at 36.4 as he was able to make an impact on multiple phases of the showdown statistically. He had a game-high 42 points to go along with six rebounds, three assists, five steals, and two blocks.

Even the turnovers were down for LaVine here. He had just one turnover, which was good for a measly turnover rate of just 3.0 percent. His assist rate (14.8), steal rate (6.1), and block rate (5.6) were also through the roof. The only downside to this game was the fact that LaVine was only able to get to the free-throw line for four attempts, despite taking more than 30 field goal attempts.

This game was a prime example of LaVine and the Bulls being able to beat up on bad teams. The Cavaliers had a solid outing from their starting five, but the bench was less than helpful. Power forward Kevin Love and point guard Collin Sexton combined for 55 points. But rookie point guard Darius Garland and center Tristan Thompson struggled with a combined 13 turnovers.
