Chicago Bulls: Ranking 5 best wins of the season so far
The biggest win of the first half of the regular season, and maybe what will be the biggest of the entire 2019-20 campaign when it’s all said and done for the Chicago Bulls came over the Los Angeles Clippers back on Dec. 14. This was also one of the most mystifying upsets throughout the entire month of December in the NBA.
Although this is a pretty easy upset to explain away on the Clippers end. Head coach Doc Rivers was without the services of superstar forward and defending NBA Champion Kawhi Leonard on this night. They were also without the services of volume scoring point guard Lou Williams and defensive standout Patrick Beverley.
What the Clippers did have in this game was the services of superstar forward Paul George, who finished up with 27 points on 45 percent shooting from the field. The team-high in scoring for the Clippers came from center Montrezl Harrell, who had 30 points to go along with three blocks and two steals off the bench.
The biggest nights for the Bulls came from Markkanen, LaVine, and center Wendell Carter Jr. Markkanen didn’t have his best scoring night, but he did rake in 17 boards. Shooting 50 percent from the field isn’t too shabby for Lauri, though. WCJ would add 14 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks. LaVine had a team-high 31 points along with four rebounds and two steals.
