If the 2019-20 NBA season is for all intents and purposes wrapped up for the Chicago Bulls, where should they look in the 2020 NBA Draft?

Updated 2020 NBA Draft boards are going to hold opinions for various college and international prospects dating to the end of the college hoops season. This draft scouting process is going to be very rigorous as there was no full conference tournament with a significant amount of NBA Draft prospects, and the NCAA Tournament did not come to fruition. There’s a lot for potential lottery teams like the Chicago Bulls to take on in their scouting department right now.

Amid all of the concerns surrounding self-isolation around the country as novel coronavirus precautions continue, the Bulls might not have a clear plan of attack for the 2020 NBA Draft. For that matter, the NBA likely doesn’t have a clear plan of attack for how the 2020 NBA Draft will occur.

The 2020 NFL Draft is situated at a much more optimal time given when their last season ended and when the next is supposed to begin. The NBA has to figure out when its draft would actually occur and what the best process is to pick the order. For example, the Bulls are only 65 games into their 82 game regular season schedule. Do you just end the season where it is now and take on the lottery that way?

Depending on where the Bulls finish out in the draft lottery odds, they could be in good position to at least get a better pick this year than seventh overall. The Bulls had the seventh overall pick in the NBA Draft for each of the past three years.

Here’s a look into the top five realistic 2020 NBA Draft targets for the Chicago Bulls if the 2019-20 season is to end as is for them.
