1. NBA Jam (Classic Game)

The 1990’s and early 2000’s were the time for the outside the box sports video games. From the original NBA Jam that came out back in 1993 for Genesis and Game Boy, among other systems. There are now emulators and other forms in which you can play NBA Jam, including the “On Fire Edition” which is available on Xbox platforms.

Getting your hands on an original copy of NBA Jam, whether it be the first one that released in 1993 or “Tournament Edition” that released in 1994, could be a rather difficult task. But the newer forms available, or if you managed to get one already, means that you are one of the lucky few.

NBA Jam could be the most fun alternative basketball sports game ever released. Playing with stars like Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan throwing it down in Bulls uniforms is a fun past time for any NBA fan, let alone those in the Windy City.

In the NBA Jam franchise, there’s three other titles that were released up through 2001. “NBA Hangtime” was the first of the three other titles released, as it first came out in 1996. “NBA Showtime” was then released in 1999 and “NBA Hoopz” was the last to come out, and it released in 2001.
