3. NBA 2K20

Any NBA fan has to already love the NBA 2K video game series if they play any Xbox, Playstation, or Nintendo console. There might be a faction of the crowd that doesn’t like particular features in the 2K franchise, or a few that prefer NBA Live (although likely not many), but it is the overwhelming favorite for the sport.

We’re getting closer to the eventual release of NBA 2K21 than the original release of 2K20, but that doesn’t mean that fans can’t enjoy the game until the season starts back up. This is a great way to forget about the real players not playing in game action while you and your friends compete in your own home.

There’s also the feature of playing with the WNBA on NBA 2K20. That opens up the game to an entire new faction of fans. Other important features include new momentum and modeling variations in-game and heightened MyTeam add ons.

The obvious choice that most NBA fans will turn to if they’re spending more of their time playing video games will be the 2K franchise. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, and Giannis Antetokounmpo will still be there for NBA 2K players.

Another option with the 2K Sports company is other sports games. This is a great time to breakout the old PS2, Xbox, or GameCube, since ESPN NFL 2K5 gets a bit of a revival. The NFL just announced a new video game partnership with 2K Sports for the first time since the mid-2000’s.
