Arizona should’ve thrived more than they did between the production and pure talent of the guard combination that was Mannion and true freshman shooting guard/wing Josh Green over the 2019-20 season. But Green was the more productive of the two guards, and he showed more natural two-way ability than Mannion.

There’s a lot of NBA teams that could use exactly what Green brings to the table. He averaged 12.0 points per game, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, while shooting 42.4 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from beyond the arc during his true freshman campaign.

There was more volatility in the draft stock of the 19-year-old talented 6-foot-4 combo guard R.J. Hampton over the course of the NBL season in Australia than just about any other guard this young in this class. Hampton did well down the stretch with the NBL’s NZ Breakers, averaging 15.4 points per game, 4.2 assists, and 1.9 steals as he finally showed some breakthrough on defense.

It just feels right that some team take a chance on the Auburn Tigers sensational true freshman small forward Isaac Okoro in the top 10 of the 2020 NBA Draft. Okoro has a high floor and a rather high ceiling, which should make him a very attractive wing prospect in this shallow class at his position at the top.

Okoro has work to do on his outside game and distributing ability, but he did average 12.9 points per game, 4.4 rebounds, and shot better than 51 percent from the field. There’s a lot of consistency to like in Okoro’s production and the bully-ball he’s able to play down low at his height.
