Which players could the Chicago Bulls elevate playing time for down the stretch and make a positive impact for the rest of the season?

Falling short at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets on March 8 at the Barclays Center in New York marked the 43rd loss of the regular season so far for the Chicago Bulls. But the Bulls played better in their last two losses, which came against the Nets and Indiana Pacers over the weekend, then they did in most other games since NBA All-Star Weekend concluded.

The Bulls now hold a record of 21-43 after their first 64 games of the 2019-20 regular season. We are now in the final stretch run of what amounted to a very disappointing season in the Windy City. There were fairly clear playoff expectations from the Bulls management during the preseason and Training Camp. But those expectations were far fetched and dwindled pretty early on this year.

Since the Bulls are effectively out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference, they should start focusing on building this team up toward the 2020-21 regular season. This Bulls organization needs to reshape a lot of their front office and coaching staff this summer, and the direction of this rebuild could be much better come next season.

Where can the Bulls go from here?

Definitely find more bench pieces that can contribute to a potentially more successful team next season. That mission was accomplished over the last two years between the rise of players like point guard Ryan Arcidiacono and combo guard Shaquille Harrison.

Here’s a look into the three players that are being most underutilized by head coach Jim Boylen and the Chicago Bulls this season.
