Chicago Bulls odds: Stringing together two straight wins
By Luke Askew
The Chicago Bulls haven’t won two straight games in over a month. Can they do it tonight on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves?
For the Chicago Bulls, winning is never easy. In their last game against the Dallas Mavericks, everything seemed to be wrapped up when Chicago had an eight-point lead with 25 seconds left. All the Bulls had to do was not blow it.
Of course, they almost blew it. If Luka Doncic’s last-second half-court heave was seven (or so) inches stronger, the Bulls would’ve been looking at one of their worst losses of the season. But, a little luck kicked in and the Bulls are now on a one-game winning streak (yes, I’m calling one win a streak).
Can Chicago somehow defy the odds and put together two straight wins? Here are the latest odds and things to keep an eye on for the Bulls-Wolves matchup tonight in Minneapolis.
Coby White needs to be big
With Zach LaVine out for the second straight game, Coby White will have to be huge tonight if the Bulls want to sneak away with a win.
Otto Porter Jr. and Wendell Carter Jr. make life easier for the entire Bulls team, but they’re still working their way back from injuries. They can’t be expected to shoulder the load offensively.
The same can be said for Lauri Markkanen. Per K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, if everything goes well, he’ll play in his first game since January 22 (a win over the Wolves). But even if he suits up, he won’t be expected to perform like some offensive superstar right away. He’ll be a guy trying to find his rhythm.
The good news for the Bulls is Coby White seems to have taken a huge step forward in his overall game. He finally looks comfortable. Tonight, he’ll have to be the life force of the Bulls’ offense. They’ll only go as far as he takes them.

The Bulls are rightfully underdogs tonight on the road, but I actually like their chances of winning the game. The Wolves are coming off a hard-fought win over Zion Williamson and the Pelicans last night in New Orleans and have injury issues of their own.
This game will likely come down to Coby White’s ability to carry the Bulls’ offense, but I think he’s up to the challenge.
Prediction: The Bulls cover the spread and win the game.
