A very interesting 2020 NBA Draft prospect that rose up to the level of national prominence this season under the direction of head coach Jay Wright with the Villanova Wildcats is sophomore forward Saddiq Bey. This 6-foot-8 forward can be an ideal modern fit for a number of NBA teams, including in the Windy City.

Similar to what Huff brings to the table as an underrated NBA Draft prospect that the Chicago Bulls could have their eye on, Bey flies under the radar nationally with how efficient his game is. So far this season, Bey is averaging 15.9 points per game, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists, while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 45.1 percent from beyond the arc.

A lot of NBA Mock Drafts within the last six months or so held Bey out as a potential second round pick. Given how versatile his offensive skill set is and how good of a floor spacer he can be, there’s no way he should be falling out of the first round. He’s making 2.6 of his 5.7 three-point attempts on average per game this season.

Bey has also registered a very solid 121.7 career offensive rating over the course of his two years with the Villanova basketball program. His high usage rate (around 23.0 percent) and assist rate (15.1 percent) and low turnover rate (10.1 percent) shows how efficient he can be as an offensive creator while hitting his three-pointers at a very solid clip.
