1. Zach LaVine, Shooting Guard

What’s really starting to boil over at the moment between the Chicago Bulls locker room and Boylen is the relationship between him and LaVine. When LaVine hit an unreal three-point shot from the Bulls logo in the dying minutes on the fourth quarter in that loss to the Thunder, he apparently mouthed off at Boylen to give him more confidence on the floor.

So far this season, LaVine is having yet another breakthrough by averaging 25.5 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists, while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from beyond the arc. He also now has more than four win shares on the season and a player efficiency rating hovering around 20.

Through and through, LaVine is one of the most miscast rising stars of any team in the Eastern Conference. Boylen is putting him in a role where he is the primary scorer and ball handler. That will continually lead to a lot of turnovers and holding LaVine back from reaching his true potential in the role where he would be the most successful.

On a true title contending team, LaVine would be the second or third scorer and really allow his insane athleticism and physical tools to take over. LaVine is also an incredible tough-shot maker. When he is forced into taking tough shots all the time, it really makes that ability of his look worse than it should be.
